Membership fees slashed at Unitas
Unitas members are set to get a price cut as part of a new plan put in place by the buying group.
In line with the group’s strategy to become more “member centric” in everything it does, Unitas has reduced its membership fee structure to take effect in the 2021/22 trading year.
The news will be a big relief to wholesalers within the membership, with margins tightening and costs increasing in the current market – and it’s a decision Managing Director John Kinney wants to shout about.
“As part of our ‘member-centric strategy’ to continually deliver value to our member, I have conducted a review of our membership funding model to ensure that it best meets the needs of our members and rewards those that contribute most to the success of Unitas,” said Kinney.
“This has resulted in the board approving a new flat levy structure which will reduce the membership cost for all members who earn ORD.
“This change will mean members saving over 60% in their levy fee versus the previous year.”
