Employees to get 5% profit-share at JJ Foodservice
JJ Foodservice employees are set to receive a bonus for their hard work thanks to a new scheme.
The foodservice wholesaler has announced it will be introducing a discretionary profit-sharing scheme from the beginning of the next financial year in April 2022.
The plan will give employees an amount equal to 5% of the net profit (before tax) of the company for the financial year.
And if this year’s figures are anything to go by, that could make for positive reading, with JJ Foodservice on track to set a new record sales total for the current financial year, ending in March 2022.
The wholesaler also scooped the National Wholesaler of the Year title at the Grocer Gold Awards and the FWD Gold Medal for Digital Innovation in 2021.
Plans are afoot to expand the business further next year too, with retail and higher-end restaurants among the Unitas member’s focus for 2022.
“The contribution and dedication of our employees, particularly during the COVID pandemic, has been incredible,” said Joanna Florczak, HR Manager at JJ Foodservice.
“We want each and every member of the JJ family to share in the company’s success and see themselves as part of our future.”
This is the latest plan JJ Foodservice has launched to make the multi-side wholesaler a more appealing place to work after announcing a pay increase for its drivers in October.
