Harvest’s Richard Strongman jumps for charity
Richard Strongman took a leap of faith in the name of Hospitality Action as he completed a charity skydive.
The Harvest Foods Managing Director took on the jump with wife, Tania, to raise funds for the cause, which his close to the wholesalers’ heart.
Hospitality Action has been a registered charity since 1837 and since offered vital assistance to all who work in the industry in the UK – providing support for physical or mental health issues, financial difficulties, family issues or addiction.
Strongman took on the 15,000-foot plug in Salisbury, free falling for 60 seconds with his instructor, Chris. The jump is the highest tandem height in the UK that you can do, where speeds of 125 miles per hour are met.
During the jump, Richard was filmed, with the video made available to watch on YouTube.
“Thank you to every who kindly sponsored me and helped to raise funds for Hospitality Action,” said Strongman after returning to terra firma.
Donations can still be made via Strongman’s JustGiving page, with contributions of any size welcomed.
