Learning portal growth is Lifestyle choice
E-training expansion a sign of the times for knowledge-hungry sector
Bolt Learning’s influence across the wholesale and retail sector has spread even further, after Lifestyle Express expanded its learning academy to offer more essential support to employees.
The portfolio of stores, which is owned by Landmark Wholesale, have benefited from Bolt’s range of online training courses since last June, when it launched its Lifestyle Learning Academy and have added three additional high-impact online training modules to its offering.
By extending the e-learning options made available for free to Lifestyle Express retailers, Landmark hopes that it will drive sales and deliver better service for customers.
“People are the greatest assets that our stores have,” said Landmark’s Retail Controller Stuart Johnson. “The Lifestyle Learning Academy will allow our retailers and their staff to access a range of essential training modules, which will enable them to help maintain compliance and grow sales.”
The expansion of the Lifestyle Learning Academy is the latest in a string of Bolt training programmes being rolled out across the industry, with Today’s Group and Bestway among the wholesalers already working in partnership with the company.
“In the current trading environment, retailers need to be maximising every opportunity to stand out from the competition,” Bolt’s Head of Customer Proposition, Katie Jenkins explained. “A stronger, better trained team, who know how to actively sell products will give retailers a competitive advantage.”
