Yazoo joins the fight against hunger by donating 33,000 bottles

Flavoured-milk favourite Yazoo is doing its bit to combat hunger and food waste and has donated 33,000 bottles to FareShare depots around the country.

The milk has been given to 15 depots up and down the nation to support the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger and waste.

Yazoo sent a range of formats and flavours to FareShare to provide a nutritious snack as part of their services to people in need and has supplied children’s breakfast clubs, day clubs for older people, domestic violence victims, homeless shelters, and drugs and alcohol rehab units.

Thanks to donations from brands such as Yazoo, FareShare saves 17,000 tonnes of good surplus food from across the food supply chain and redistributes it to nearly 10,000 charities and community groups.
