Group support network is wholesale first
Country Range signs up to industry employee assistance programme
Employees working for Country Range Group and its 12 wholesalers will now receive confidential support, after the company became the first wholesaler to sign up to Hospitality Action’s Employee Assistance Programme.
The programme offers free help, advice and resources for people struggling with difficulties in their home or working life – and can be accessed by Country Range staff in addition to usual company procedures and processes.
Support will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by using the Well Online portal, with assistance sheets and self-help guides, alongside the free Assistance Line that can be accessed by email, live chat or phone.
The programme’s resources provide guidance on a range of topics, including health and wellbeing, dealing with financial pressures, managing working life, dealing with legal problems, and battling alcohol or drug problems.
Hospitality Action has been assisting people in the hospitality industry 1837 and are experts when it comes to giving people in the industry the correct help and support when they need it.
Country Range’s Managing Director Coral Rose said: “Our fundraising campaign, which raised more than £20,000 for Hospitality Action, gave me a real insight into the incredible service, support and resources they provide to people working in the hospitality industry who are in need.
“We’re incredibly proud to be the first wholesaler to sign up to the Hospitality Action Employee Assistance Programme and hope it can be a valuable resource to employees in our group moving forward.
