Parfetts take home employee-owned gong

Wholesaler’s business excellence recognised with top award

Wholesaler AG Parfett and Sons Limited has been named as Employee Owned Business of the Year by the UK Employee Ownership Awards which celebrate employee-owned business excellence.

Parfett’s, a member of Unitas Wholesale, has been employee owned for the past 10 years. Greg Suszczenia, Parfett’s joint managing director, said: “We are enormously proud to have repaid the founders and won this prestigious award at the same time.

“Over the past decade we have seen our company flourish, but with the sense of engagement our employee-owned business brings, I firmly believe it allows us to have a strong advantage over our competitors.”

The success comes on the back of the announcement that Parfetts has named Guy Swindell as its new retail director and Andy Whitworth becoming wholesale director.
