What’s in February’s Wholesale News?
New magazine goes behind the scenes at Pilgrim Foodservice and gets the Easter lowdown
Sit down and grab a cuppa because the year’s second edition of Wholesale News has landed – and it’s full to the brim with interesting content.
As you’ll see from our cover picture, we went to visit a wholesaler with a difference this month. With a state-of-the-art butchery to fall back on – as well as a host of other facilities on site – Pilgrim Foodservice isn’t your normal independent wholesaler.
The Caterforce member is family owned, with a father-and-son team sitting at the helm as managing director and chairman. Between them and the rest of the Pilgrim team, they’ve left no stone unturned in their quest to deliver the best possible service to customers. It was fascinating to see.
We also caught up with Bidfood’s latest Young Wholesaler of the Year, Katie Sillars, who took some time out of her busy schedule to explain what she’s been doing to get noticed – and what she wants to do to next.
There are also category focuses on Easter confectionery and e-cigarettes, which will give wholesalers useful pointers to make more dough this spring.
Below is a sneak peek at what’s inside. If you’d like to receive a free issue each month, you can sign up on our subscriptions page, while our library of free digital editions is also online.
