Unitas Wholesale postpones trade show

Next week’s Unitas Wholesale trade show has been postponed.

The two-day event was scheduled to start on Tuesday 17 March at Liverpool Exhibition Centre, but was called off due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Delegates each received an email from Managing Director Darren Goldney to explain the situation.

Although there has yet to be any official government advice on cancelling large events in England, the decision was made after a number of suppliers and Unitas members pulled out.

The Unitas trade show is the latest in a series of industry events to have fallen victim of the spread of Covid-19.

It hasn’t been announced if or when the Unitas trade show will be rearranged.
