GFG platform to “revolutionise” route to market
A new online marketplace is promising to revolutionise the way suppliers get their products to market.
GFG provides a “simple and effective” new route to sell products during the coronavirus epidemic, selling to consumers, the trade and wholesale without minimum order quantities.
The platform has removed the need for minimum order quantities by utilising existing distribution systems at low cost, removing one possible boundary for sales. Orders are then shipped directly to customers, regardless of their function.
GFG also launched its Confex by GFG platform last week, which offers the buying group’s smaller and specialist wholesaler online access to large range of products that can be delivered without transport or equipment costs.
“Although everyone is now self-isolating, we can still get your products out there now,” explained GFG Managing Director Stephen Briggs.
“We have capacity to take on more suppliers and drive sales for them, shipping their products direct to customers’ homes and business, such as care homes, hospitals and takeaways.
“Without pubs, restaurants and other supply routes, we know consumers, retailers and wholesalers are looking to source new and different products, and our rapidly expanding range of chilled, frozen, ambient and alcohol products can be delivered direct to their door.”
“Not only can consumers try new products at home, but wholesalers and retailers can also use GFG to expand their range and trial new products without risk, which is invaluable at this time of uncertainty. Get in touch to see what we can do for you.”
