New industry jobs board launched to “help each other”
Industry professionals on the hunt for a new job have just had their tasks made a little bit easier, thanks to the launching of a new vacancy board.
Kicking off on the Women in Wholesale website, the Job Finder section promises to display vacancies in the wholesale, retail and FMCG sectors at no cost.
The aim is for the new jobs board to make it easier for job seekers to find roles that are industry specific, with several people currently out of work due to redundancies made as the wholesale sector continues to battle the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“There are no fees and no hidden charges,” said former Bidfood Technical Director Angela O’Donavan, who is helping to run the section on the site.
“It’s simply the right thing to do to help each other at this challenging time.”
Despite being in its infancy, a host of active job roles are already advertised on the Job Finder section, with more expected to be added in the coming weeks.
