AA Certification achieved by Queenswood Natural Foods

Congratulations are in store for Queenswood Natural Foods after the wholesaler achieved an AA certification from the British Retail Consortium.

The Somerset-based business is part of Hunt’s Group – which in turn is a member of Caterforce – and was awarded the accreditation for its head office and organic-certified distribution depot.

Being given the AA grade means the wholesaler has met all the legal and safety requirements for its storage and distribution of products, while reflecting the diligence and commitment it has taken to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

The internationally recognised accreditation is known across the industry and requires audit and inspections to prove the set procedures are followed to ensure food safety.

“We are humbled to receive this acknowledgement of our standard of practice,” said Sales Director Nicki Stribley.

“It’s a real demonstration of the commitment of our employees, despite the challenges we have all faced throughout 2020 and dealing with a global pandemic.
