“BIG” Birchall event lives up to billing
Birchall Foodservice welcomed the return to its BIG event with a record number of customers and suppliers in attendance.
The foodservice wholesaler’s showcase event was back for the first time in two years following an enforced break due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
More than 80 caterers turned up to sample food and drink from 33 of Birchall’s top suppliers, including Marshfield Ice Cream, Meatless Farm and Whitby Seafoods.
The event included outdoor food vans, pop-up marquees and the chance to try this year’s Christmas offering, while Natasha’s Law seminars were held during the day with allergen and nutrition expert Jacqui McPeake.
And based on feedback from the likes of Thornton Hall Country Park Catering Manager Kayleigh Holian, the event was a big success.
“Birchall’s trade shows are always inspiring and educational, but this year’s event was the best yet,” said Holian.
“The Natasha’s Law seminars cleared up a few concerns I had, and I returned to my venue feeling more informed about the new legislation.”
