Hancocks celebrates 60 years

Hancocks in Glasgow has celebrated the wholesaler’s 60th anniversary in style, with its biggest store event so far this year

The Blochairn depot celebrated the milestone birthday with an event for customers and suppliers where customers were able to take advantage of offers, prize draws and giveaways and meet the team and suppliers.

Sixtieth anniversary celebrations will be taking place across Hancocks depots throughout this year.

Hancocks’ Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Summerley said: “Sixty years in business is such a milestone. That’s down to our fantastic teams working together to ensure we’re constantly providing retailers with the best selection of confectionery.  And of course, we couldn’t have done it without our suppliers too.

“Being able to hold events at each of our 14 stores is certainly the best way to mark 60 years and has allowed us to appreciate the scale of Hancocks and how much it has grown.”
