From warehouse to director – Birchall Foodservice promote Green

A long-serving Birchall Foodservice employee has completed his journey from warehouse operative to director

Andy Green has been working for the Country Range Group member for more than 20 years and has been promote to buying director – a reward for his hard work and dedication to the business.

Green started at the Burnley-based wholesaler as a warehouse picker in 2001 and has gradually progressed to move up the ranks in the buying operation.

In his new role, Green will work alongside director, Keith Horner, and oversee the day-to-dat running on Birchalls’ buying department.

“Andy has a wealth of trading experience and his knowledge of foodservice is invaluable to us,” said Managing Director Justin Birchall.

“I’m confident that he will succeed in his new role. The experience he’s gained over the last 20 years gives him a great platform to help us drive the business forward.”
