Country Range takes membership to 13

The Country Range Group has announced Arthur David, a family-owned, independent wholesaler, as the latest wholesaler to join its ‘growing family’

Based in Bishop Sutton, Bristol, Arthur David was founded in 1962 and now supplies caterers and chefs across the South West. The Arthur David team is made up of more than 435 members of staff including three generations of the David family. The wholesaler will join the group on 1 January 2024.

“While many independent wholesale businesses are being swallowed up by the big players in the industry, we’re immensely proud of our independence, we love what we do and remain passionate about our customers,” said Alex Rall, Managing Director, Arthur David. “The Country Range Group has been leading the way and carrying the torch for independent wholesale businesses so we’re delighted to be part of the family and look forward to working closely with the other members to drive further success.”

Arthur David is the third wholesaler to join the Group in the past 12 months, following Brook Street Foodservice and Harlech Foodservice.
