Chefs’ Selections scoops industry award
Caterforce is celebrating after one of its bestselling own brand Chefs’ Selections desserts scooped an industry award
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans, the Chefs’ Selections Vegan Jaffa Cake is a three-time award winner in just two years, having won a Quality Food Awards Silver Award in the Foodservice Vegan Products and Alternatives category.
This award follows the dessert’s success in 2022 with a Great Taste award and a Cash & Carry Management ‘Best of the Best 2O22’ award.
“The dessert, which comprises two layers of orange-flavoured sponge and one layer of chocolate sponge, layered with an orange gel, filled and covered with chocolate icing and finished with caramelised orange zest, ticks the boxes for consumers looking for a vegan option that not only reflects seasonal trends but also delivers incredible flavour,” said Rebecca Woollam, Own Brand Marketing Manager.

Recognising the need to cater for gluten-free, free-from and vegan consumers, Caterforce has recently launched four new Chefs’ Selections desserts to sit alongside the Vegan Jaffa Cake, which are a Vegan & Gluten Free Chocolate Orange Dessert, Vegan & Gluten Free Lemon & Berry Delice, Vegan Speculoos Traybake and a Gluten Free Raspberry Sensation Cheesecake.
