Confex Savings Club recruits first new wholesalers
Following its launch at the buying group’s trade show in March, the Confex Savings Club, powered by Jisp, is now up and running with Confex members using it to make savings
The new wholesale-specific loyalty programme, created by tech company Jisp with Confex, has seen members across the buying group register to offer loyalty rewards and discounts on products for customers.
Ryan Thompson, director, Thompsons Food Service, said: “We were introduced to it at the trade show and immediately saw the benefits it would bring to our business and our customers through savings and reward payments.”
Through Confex Savings Club, wholesalers can offer customers savings and rewards that drive loyalty while earning them extra through a supplier revenue share. Customers of participating Confex members save and earn money, simply by redeeming product vouchers at their Confex wholesaler, and brands can reach retailers through special promotions while receiving data and insights about who is shopping their products.
“We’ve had a great deal of interest in the Confex Savings Club powered by Jisp since its successful launch at the Confex Trade Show,” said Jisp managing director, Ilann Hepworth. “That is five wholesale operators who have now signed up and we’re in the later stages of signing up many more. The appetite for a wholesale-specific loyalty and rewards platform is high and we’re having new businesses contact us every week with regards signing up.
