Women in Wholesale now includes menopause support
With 76% of women in menopause reporting significant challenges such as brain fog, anxiety and depression,* an online Menopause Café is being launched to increase awareness and provide support
The Women in Wholesale Menopause Café, to run quarterly from December, will provide a safe space for both women and men to learn more about the challenges facing women in the workplace around menopause, and provide support.
The free and confidential sessions will cover subjects such as anxiety and depression, how to support colleagues and dietary and nutritional advice, will take place online on the following dates:
- Introduction and Coping with Anxiety and Depression: 12 December, 10-11am
- Actional adjustments in the workplace, 13 March, 10-11am
- How to support your colleagues, 12 June, 10-11am
- Dietary tips and nutrition, 11 September, 10-11am
The café will be hosted by Michelle Painton from Mondelez International which has recently won a Food and Drink Federation HR Initiative award for its activities around menopause in the workplace.
